03/16/2026 FOUR Years Later

03/16/2026

It’s hard to believe it’s been four years since we sat in that room with Dr. Hollinger and heard the words no family ever wants to hear: “It’s ALS.”

Four years since our world tilted… and yet four years of watching God do what only He can do.
And here we are.
Still standing. Still fighting. Still believing.
Because GOD IS AMAZING.
He has sustained us when we had no strength left.
He has saved us in moments we didn’t even realize we needed saving.
He has performed miracle after miracle—quiet ones, loud ones, undeniable ones—reminding us over and over that He has a plan and a purpose for Jacob’s life.
Our friend Sumitha said it best:
“Jacob is already healed… now we wait for his body to show the signs.”
And that’s exactly where we stand today—
in faith, in hope, in gratitude,
trusting the God who has carried us through every valley and every victory.
Four years later, we can say with full confidence:
God has never failed us, and He’s not about to start now.

03/06/2026 2 Mile Walk

03/06/2026

New haircut and a beautiful day, so Jacob wanted to go for a walk!

We ended up going about two miles, stopping at the City Of Winfield Boat Dock halfway through.

I cannot sing Rick’s praises enough. This man is faithful and always right on time. He comes to the house, takes care of Jacob, and refuses to be paid or even thanked. Who does that anymore?

Rick lives out his faith in the quiet, unseen ways that matter most.

“Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine,

you did for me.” — Matthew 25:40

We are so grateful for him. People like Rick remind us that God still sends helpers exactly when we need them.

03/03/2026 A Small Miracle

03/03/3036

Yesterday morning was rough for Jacob. He woke up feeling pretty bad — lethargic, quiet, not smiling, and barely engaging with us at all. By evening he finally told me he felt sick and wanted Tylenol.

I checked his vitals:
• Temp: 100.4
• Pulse: way up
• Blood pressure: elevated
We gave him Tylenol, and again before bed. It helped some… but before tucking him in, we held his hands and prayed. And this prayer was different. We didn’t pray our usual nightly routine — we prayed directly over the exact situation in front of us. We gave it all to the Lord and asked specifically for His peace, His mercy, and His healing.
Fast forward to 11 AM today. Jacob woke up and said he felt great and was excited for PT. His vitals?
• Temp: 98.8
• Pulse: low
• Blood pressure: 99/74
Tell me… do you believe in miracles?
I absolutely do.
God is greater than any problem we face.
